Beginner Knitting: Make Your First Hat Start the New Year with a New Skill! Always wanted to learn how to knit? Join us this January for a cozy four-week beginner knitting series designed specifically for those with little to no knitting experience. Over four hands-on classes, you’ll learn the basic skills needed to start knitting while working toward your very first finished project, a handmade knit hat! Throughout the series, you’ll learn basic knitting techniques, how to read and understand your stitches, how to fix common mistakes, and the skills needed to complete your hat from start to finish. Class Dates: Sundays — January 10, 17, 24, 31 Time: 3:00–5:00 PM Ages: 13+ Experience Level: Beginners only — no prior knitting experience necessary Cost:$125 per person for the full four-week series Supplies **Knitting needles and practice yarn will be provided** so you’ll have everything you need to begin learning. Once we’re ready to start your hat project, participants will purchase their own yarn. This gives everyone the opportunity to choose the color and style they love for their finished hat. We’ll provide guidance on exactly what type and amount of yarn to purchase, so no prior knowledge of yarn is needed! About the Series Registration includes all four classes. Each class builds on the skills learned the week before, so participants should plan to attend the entire series. Space is limited to keep the class small and allow plenty of time for individual instruction. Come spend your Sunday afternoons learning something new, meeting new people, and enjoying a cozy winter hobby. By the end of the series, you’ll have new knitting skills — and a handmade hat of your own!
